The problem
Every invitation used to be a hand-built page, so each new client meant developer time, and couples could not edit their own details.
What I built
A TanStack Start app on Workers with D1 and R2. Clients activate their account from a WhatsApp link, preview drafts before publishing, upload photos (resized automatically) and videos (streamed straight to R2), paste a guest list to get personal ?to= links and WhatsApp messages, and export RSVPs to CSV. Pages are server-rendered with escaping and a strict Content-Security-Policy.
The result
Live at invitation.elwinlabs.dev. A new theme only needs a manifest, a renderer and a stylesheet, without changing the editor.
